Party ideas by occasion
Bachelor party
A 3–4 hour daytime cruise with swimming, a jet ski following the yacht and a BBQ, ending at sunset. A 50–65 ft yacht suits 12–25 guests. Keep it within the rules: drinks only for 21+, no jumping off the boat, and swimming only when the captain allows it.
Bachelorette party
A sunset cruise with balloons or a balloon arch (AED 300 – 650), a cake, a photographer (AED 800 – 2,500) and music. Many groups board about 90 minutes before sunset for the best photos.
Corporate events
Team outings, client entertainment and product launches. Large event boats hold up to about 80 or even 200 guests, with packages from about AED 350 per person, up to 6 crew and an event supervisor. Ask the operator for a VAT tax invoice in your company's name — only VAT-registered businesses with a TRN can issue one.
Anniversary
A private sunset cruise for two on a small yacht (from about AED 800 – 1,400 for 2 hours), with flowers, cake and a dinner setup — see sunset yacht and proposal ideas.

Rules for a yacht party in Dubai
- Licensed operators only. Yacht charter companies need a permit from the Dubai Maritime Authority, licensed crew, and must show their timings and prices.
- ID for every guest. The guest list is confirmed before departure; final numbers are fixed the night before and cannot go above the yacht's licensed capacity.
- Drinks: the drinking age is 21. Some private charters let adults 21+ bring drinks — get it confirmed in writing; operators can end a charter without refund for alcohol misuse.
- Swimming: only in daylight, close to the yacht, when the captain allows. Some operators fine guests for jumping off the boat.
- Music and behaviour: keep music reasonable near the marina and respect local customs — public behaviour rules still apply.
- Under-21s must be supervised.
