What a typical yacht trip looks like

Most charters leave from Dubai Marina or Dubai Harbour. A 2-hour cruise usually passes the Marina skyline, Bluewaters and Ain Dubai, the Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis, with a stop to swim or take photos. With 3–4 hours you can add the Burj Al Arab view and more time at anchor.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to rent a yacht in Dubai?

Typical rates are AED 500 – 2,500 per hour for a 36–80 ft yacht and AED 2,500 – 15,000 per hour for a superyacht. Most companies require at least 2 hours, so a small yacht for 2 hours costs about AED 1,000 – 5,000 in total.

What is included in a Dubai yacht charter?

Usually the licensed captain and crew, fuel, life jackets and safety equipment, marine insurance and a sound system. Food, drinks, water sports, decoration and photography are normally extra.

Can we swim during the cruise?

Yes, on most trips the yacht anchors so guests can swim, if the sea is calm and the captain allows it. Tell us in advance so the yacht has enough time at anchor.

What documents do guests need?

Operators ask for a guest list with passport or Emirates ID details before departure. Bring the original ID on the day.

Is it better to book a yacht in advance?

Yes, especially for weekends, sunset times and the October–April season. Two to seven days ahead is usually enough; for New Year's Eve book weeks earlier.
